About You
This job requires a candidate who has expertise in mobile app development, frontend engineering, and crafting beautiful user interfaces and experiences with modern mobile and web technologies. The successful candidate will lead the technical direction and execution of our mobile applications, ensuring alignment with business goals, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include defining and implementing scalable, robust, and maintainable mobile application architecture and system design, collaborating closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance to development teams to ensure adherence to architectural principles, coding standards, and best practices, evaluating third-party tools, frameworks, and APIs for integration into mobile applications, considering factors such as security, performance, and scalability, driving continuous improvement initiatives in mobile application development processes, tooling, and automation to enhance efficiency, quality, and time-to-market, acting as a technical mentor and coach to mobile developers, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence within the mobile development team, communicating complex technical concepts and technical decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management and external partners,

Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in mobile application development using React Native, extensive experience in developing and architecting mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, strong proficiency in mobile app development frameworks and technologies, deep understanding of mobile application architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc), ensuring code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to standards and best practices, familiarity with backend technologies, APIs, and microservices architecture, enabling seamless integration between mobile apps and backend systems, experience in performance optimization, scalability planning, and troubleshooting of mobile applications to ensure optimal user experience and reliability, ability to mentor and coach development teams, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and training sessions on mobile application architecture best practices, and deep understanding and commitment to software engineering principles and processes and continuous improvement through measurement. Additionally, preferred qualifications include experience with React web development and responsive design, experience with SCRUM or similar agile development methodology, and experience with native mobile development (Swift/Kotlin).

Benefits
The compensation package includes an estimated salary range of $143,625 - $299,375/yr and may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
