Job Summary: We are seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our team at Schowalter Villa. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide assigned residents with personal, quality care to meet their daily needs in accordance with established federal, state, and facility policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assure residents' privacy and dignity while providing care
  • Interact with residents in a warm, personal manner and provide a calm environment
  • Assure residents are clean and comfortable at all times
  • Assist residents in ambulating and transferring as necessary
  • Provide nursing care for residents within scope of training and as directed by licensed nurses
  • Provide nutrition and hydration to promote well-being of residents
  • Communicate residents' care needs with peers and supervisors
  • Observe and record residents' conditions and/or any incidents or accidents
  • Assist maintaining an organized and clean area for residents and co-workers
  • Assist in the admission process

Requirements:
  • Must be sixteen (16) years of age
  • Must be Certified Nurse Aide in Kansas
  • Must be 18 years of age to operate or assist in the operation of most power-driven hoists

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
