Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of products and materials to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Monitor production operations to ensure that they meet quality standards.
- Remove products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests.
- Perform in-depth inspections of products before signing off and approving them.
- Test products to determine if they meet manufacturer and industry standards.
- Communicate with production personnel to address quality issues.
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
- Perform calibration and validation of tools and equipment.
- Train colleagues on quality procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and quality control principles.
- Previous experience as a quality inspector or in a related field.
- IPC620/J-STD-001 certification is a plus.
