Overview

The State of Kansas is seeking a highly skilled Library Assistant II to join its team in the State Archives Division.

Salary

An estimated salary for this position is $43,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role involves assisting with the acquisition and accessioning of government and non-government records in various formats, working closely with the Acquisitions Archivist and Public Records staff to ensure compliance with approved policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and quality-controlling collections, including analog, born-digital, and web-only materials, according to accepted standards and best practices.

In addition, the Library Assistant II will provide assistance to patrons in the Research Room and work occasional Saturdays.

Requirements and Qualifications
