Position Summary

The Service Greeter/Porter plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless flow of service customer vehicles, enhancing customer convenience, and maintaining an organized service parking area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome all customers entering the service area with a positive and professional demeanor, addressing their inquiries and guiding them to the right personnel.
  • Assess whether customers have scheduled appointments, documenting their details such as name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and any pre-existing vehicle damage.
  • Manage service traffic, assist with parking, and coordinate loaner vehicles as necessary. Ensure vehicles are parked correctly after service write-up.
  • Drive vehicles safely and report any damage immediately, aiming for zero incidents.
  • Retrieve customer vehicles at the cashier for pickup, ensuring a warm thank you for their business.
  • Install protective covers and tags in all vehicles brought in for service.
  • Deliver keys and repair orders to the appropriate Service Advisor promptly after parking.
  • Maintain a clean and safe service drive area, free from debris and hazards.
  • Transport vehicles between service lanes, stalls, and parking areas as required.
  • Create key tags for vehicles as needed.
  • Uphold a professional appearance at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and report any incidents to management immediately.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are necessary:

  • Authorization to work in the USA.
  • Commitment to performing duties safely.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks, MVR, drug tests, credit reports, and possession of a valid driver’s license.
