As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including adjusting equipment settings and using image processing software.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related modality.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
