As a Beaming Creeler at Engineered Floors, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality beams for our Weaving Department. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that our production meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of beams produced, identifying and addressing any defects or issues that may arise.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with the Weaving/Beaming Supervisor and Operation Manager, keeping them informed of any problems or quality issues that may impact production.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Lifting and Mobility: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods on a concrete floor.
- Physical Demands: Capable of walking, stooping, and reaching over loom for extended periods, working in a busy and hot environment.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Must be hands-on and possess a basic understanding of mechanical principles.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in basic computer operations and data entry.
- Training: Ability to operate a lift truck and complete necessary training.
- Overtime: Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Accident Reporting: Prompt reporting of any accidents or incidents.
- Machine Safety: Daily completion of machine safety checklists.
