Job Summary

Troon International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menu concepts, recipes, and production forecasts to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of chefs and cooks to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients, managing inventory and supplies to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items, specials, and promotions.
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in culinary arts or related field, plus 6-12 months of supervisory experience in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Proven track record of success in menu development, kitchen operations, and team leadership.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Food safety and sanitation training, with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
