Georgia Orthopaedic Society is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Orthopedic Surgeon with specialized fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery. This role involves delivering comprehensive surgical care for a variety of complex foot and ankle conditions.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing total ankle replacements and intricate reconstructions of the midfoot and hindfoot.
- Managing surgical repairs for acute foot and ankle fractures, including calcaneus and pilon fractures.
- Collaborating with a well-established team of orthopedic professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participating in multidisciplinary case conferences and process improvement meetings to uphold evidence-based practices.
Practice Environment
The orthopedic department is supported by a team of experienced board-certified orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, and podiatrists, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient management. The practice is centralized at a state-of-the-art medical facility, providing a conducive environment for both elective procedures and emergency care.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation package ranges from $369,292 to $717,679 annually, reflecting the starting range of total remuneration. This may include productivity bonuses, quality performance incentives, and additional cash compensation. A continuing medical education (CME) allowance and other benefits are also part of the employment package.
