Job Title: Dialysis Travel RN

Quik Travel Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Travel RN to join our team. As a Dialysis Travel RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare facility partners.

Job Requirements:
  • 1+ year of recent experience as a dialysis nurse
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school
  • Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
  • BLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings)
  • ACLS certification required (Acute setting only)
Responsibilities:
  • Assesses patient response to dialysis therapy
  • Makes appropriate adjustments and modifications to treatment plans as indicated/directed by supervisors or prescribed by the physician
  • Assessment of patient pre, interim, and post dialysis and documentation of findings
  • Administers medications as ordered to assigned patients
  • Assesses educational needs of patient and educating the patient and family regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medications
