Overview

Adams State University seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Program Coordinator for Cultural Development. This position plays a crucial part in implementing projects aimed at enhancing outcomes for Hispanic and low-income students at the university.

Salary

The salary for this position is approximately $45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Job Description

This is a twelve-month exempt, at-will, full-time position with primary responsibilities including assisting the Project Director in implementing projects focused on cultural responsiveness. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful completion of project activities while adhering to federal reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Director in planning and executing projects related to cultural development.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and compile performance reports as required.
  • Develop and implement professional development programs focusing on cultural responsiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree (master's preferred).
  • Experience working with schools, school counselors, and student advising for college or related administration.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and populations.
