We are currently recruiting for the position of All Purpose Lead Clerk. This role may be assigned to one of several departments within the store, including Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, or Janitorial.

The Lead All Purpose Clerk is responsible for promoting sales within assigned department, answering customer questions, and responding to customer requests for products. They must also practice safe food handling procedures, maintain a clean work area, and ensure the department is orderly and free from safety hazards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote sales within assigned department

Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self-motivation
  • Ability to be proactive, initiative, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job
  • Ability to lead individuals and a team

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) or additional job experience
  • Six months of related experience

Physical Demands:
  • Requires standing and other physical movements on a frequent basis
  • Requires lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance
