Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our clinical team at Colorado Primary Health Care. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy and rehabilitation services to patients within our clinical practice facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct patient care under the authorization of a physician.
- Create and update treatment plans to promote effective and safe recovery.
- Test and measure patients' strength and flexibility to develop personalized recovery plans.
- Develop and manage patient recovery plans, including exercise techniques and ergonomic practices.
- Provide patient education and advise patients, family members, and healthcare professionals on care and treatment.
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate patient records.
Working Environment:
- Physical demands: 75% walking, squatting, sitting, bending, reaching; 25% standing.
- Average lifting requirements: 20-40 lbs.
- Additional physical demands: ability to operate multi-line telephone system, computer keyboard, and ten-key adding machine.
Working Conditions:
- Normal business office environment.
- Required to exhibit a positive attitude and professional appearance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant bedside manner and motivation skills.
- Time management and complex problem-solving skills.
- Persuasion and persistence skills.
- Service-oriented and instructing and teaching skills.
- Basic computer skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- DPT preferred.
- Licensed as a physical therapist.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of one year of physical therapy experience.
