Job Overview

The Tower Technician will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and repair of wireless communication towers and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in tower climbing and a strong understanding of wireless infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair wireless communication towers and related equipment
  • Climb towers and perform work at various heights, sometimes in adverse weather conditions
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with tower equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tower equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tower climbing and wireless infrastructure is not required but preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to climb and work at heights up to 500 feet
  • Knowledge of tower safety standards and procedures
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of microwave, antennas, and other tower equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel and work on-call as needed
