This position requires a skilled nurse who can coordinate and direct nursing care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow and quality of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Support patient-centered care by engaging in service recovery and addressing patient concerns.
- Contribute to staff development and education, including interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
- One year of experience in emergency services is required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or has a Compact license.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
