Pharmacy Liaison

CPS Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented Pharmacy Technician (Liaison) professional to join our team at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

• Greet patients upon arrival and explain the benefits of our specialty pharmacy program.
• Perform insurance benefit investigations, prior authorization, and claim rejects.
• Work with patients to find financial aid and ensure access to necessary medications.
• Provide direct support to enrolled patients and conduct outbound phone calls for patient support and adherence checks.
• Triaging clinical questions to the appropriate clinician and participating in conferences and workshops to promote CPS.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a pharmacy liaison/technician highly preferred.
• Registered or able to become registered as a pharmacy technician in Maryland.
• Experience interacting with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of benefit investigations, prior authorization support, and patient financial assistance.

• PPD TB Skin Test - proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months.
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps, and Rubella or a blood titer proving immunity.
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or a blood titer proving immunity.
• Hep B3 Series.
• (Flu) Influenza - required for hire between October 1st and April 30th.
• COVID vaccine.
