Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Nurse to join our team at Garden City Hospital. As a member of our award-winning team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Cardiovascular Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. This will include addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
You will also be responsible for communicating with physicians continuously and as needed about patient condition, assisting with the maintenance of equipment and inventory, and assessing procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab, and monitoring and recording patients' condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab.
QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you will need to have a Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) and an active state Registered Nursing (RN) License. You will also need to have current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification, as well as one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area.
