Key ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse will:
- Deliver direct nursing care following established protocols and procedures.
- Implement and oversee patient care plans, monitoring and documenting patient conditions as necessary.
- Act as the primary coordinator for interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders effectively.
- Assess and facilitate discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program (GN) or possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or a multi-state license through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Certification in Advanced Life Support is required within 6 months of hire. BLS Provider certification is required within 1 month of hire.
Education:
- A diploma from an accredited nursing school or required professional licensure at the time of hire.
