Multisystemic Therapist

National Counseling Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled therapist to join our Norfolk, VA MST Team.

This is an evidence-based program that focuses on a well-researched community-based treatment model directed at youth involved in criminal activity and their families.

The ideal candidate will blend clinical treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, and family therapy modalities within the MST model.

Responsibilities include assessing family strengths and needs, defining problematic behaviors, and implementing a treatment plan according to MST Standards.

Therapists will empower parents and caregivers with the skills and resources needed to address difficulties in raising adolescents and empower youth to cope with family, peer, school, and neighborhood problems.

Sessions are typically conducted in the family's home/community setting, with a flexible schedule based on the family's availability.

Therapists will carry an average caseload of 6 clients.

Compensation:

$51,920 to $55,280

Must be Licensed or Licensed Eligible
