We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows Engineer to join our team at SAIC. Key Responsibilities

  • Windows 10 and 11 Baseline Management
    • Maintain and support the Windows 10 SOE baseline.
    • Support the design, development, configuration, and testing of the Windows 11 SOE baseline with associated components, e.g., M365, Edge, Chrome.
  • Intune Endpoint Management
    • Perform Tier 3 engineering support to Microsoft's cloud-based Intune endpoint management system, providing enterprise-level app and device management services to desktops, mobile devices, and other endpoints.
    • Support policy, app, and device configuration management for endpoints, including design, test, deployment, and maintenance activities.
  • Incident Response and Security
    • Respond to complex incidents escalated from Tier 2, including service outages and degradations.
    • Interface with vendor and other enterprise support elements as required.
    • Provide system security support, including threat prevention and reduction, response, and remediation.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 9 years or more of related experience; Master's degree and 7 years of related experience; may accept additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Technical Skills
    • Significant hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and implementing Windows 10 and 11 baselines.
    • Microsoft system administrator experience in the planning, migrating, and deploying Microsoft 365 services using Intune, Defender for Endpoints, and MS Entra ID.
    • Experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows client and non-Windows devices.
    • Experienced with implementing and managing endpoints at scale using MS Intune, Windows Autopilot, MS Entra ID, and Defender for Endpoint.
  • Clearance
    • US Citizenship.
    • Active Secret security clearance with Top Secret eligibility.

Desired Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certifications
    • Microsoft 365 Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate.
  • Additional Skills
    • PowerShell scripting and Group Policy management.
    • Prior work experience supporting U.S. government agencies.
    • ITIL v4 Foundations.
