A staff nurse is a licensed professional who is responsible for managing comprehensive patient care with a focus on achieving positive outcomes.

Utilizing principles of patient-centered care and adhering to professional nursing standards, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care provided to patients.

You will hold primary responsibility and accountability for all patient care delivered personally and by those under your supervision.


In this position, you will prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for acutely ill patients through the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.

Effective communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members is essential, while upholding the ANA standards of professional nursing practice and complying with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards.


Unit Details:
The General Medicine (4NE) Unit is an 18-bed telemetry-capable unit operating 24/7, catering to a diverse adult inpatient population (18 years and older) with various medical conditions, supported by a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

Required:
- Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN degree or higher preferred.

Associate Degree Nurses must enroll in a BSN program within six (6) to nine (9) months of hire and complete their BSN degree within 30 months. ADN nurses are eligible for 100% tuition reimbursement towards a BSN degree from an accredited program.


- Current Illinois RN license

BLS Certification Required

Preferred:
- 1-2 years of Nursing Experience

ACLS Certification Preferred
