Beef Shoppe Manager

As a Beef Shoppe Manager at Lowes Foods, you will be responsible for supervising and ensuring that our guests receive excellent service and that our meat and seafood departments are maintained to achieve maximum sales. You will also be responsible for preparing product for sale, maintaining inventory and supplies, and operating the department according to merchandising and operational programs and guidelines.
Responsibilities
Ensure all guests receive polite, friendly greetings and interactions from the meat and seafood staff.
Achieve budgeted sales, supply/wrap, shrink, and gross profits for the meat and seafood departments.
Prepare product for sale according to Lowes Foods standards.
Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies for the meat and seafood departments.
Operate the department according to merchandising and operational programs and guidelines.
Maintain high quality and freshness with products available for sale.
Maintain safety and sanitation standards in all areas that come in contact with meat and seafood.
Provide guidance, orientation, training, and feedback to the meat and seafood staff.
Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking, and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
Qualifications
Possess good interpersonal skills, effective selling skills, and have an outgoing personality.
Ability to work well with others and sell and interact with guests.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. constantly.
Ability to read and understand information and directions.
Knowledge of meat and seafood products and operations.
Ability to supervise people, including training and development.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job, including operating a computer.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to work in a cold environment.
Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
