Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfill orders with precision and accuracy, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of medications to patients.
  • Conduct thorough checks on technician-prepared products to guarantee quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the pharmacy and controlled substances, adhering to strict protocols and regulations.
  • Enter orders and patient information with precision, utilizing our advanced pharmacy systems.
  • Provide training and support to new staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Keep the Director informed of daily pharmacy activities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assist the Director in maintaining the pharmacy, ensuring optimal operations and compliance.
Work Schedule

This full-time position requires a 40-hour workweek, with Monday-Friday day shifts and every other weekend. You will also be required to take on-call duties every third week when the pharmacy is closed.

Requirements
  • BS or PharmD degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Missouri Pharmacist licensure in good standing.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in an acute care setting or equivalent.
  • Ability to solve problems, establish trust, and credibility.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite and pharmacy order entry systems.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Hospital Requirements
  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months.
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps, and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity.
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity.
  • HepB3 Series (or declination).
  • (Flu) Influenza - required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th.
