Job Summary

Huntington University is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Undergraduate Admissions Counselor to join our Arizona office team. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a vital role in representing our university and promoting our Christian higher education mission to prospective students.

This is a full-time, 12-month exempt position that requires a strong personal Christian commitment and a desire to serve others. You will work closely with our Dean, Senior Admissions Coordinator, and Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Strategy to achieve our recruitment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Huntington University in a professional manner throughout the recruitment process
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, and school counselors
  • Travel throughout the recruiting territory to attend college fairs, visit high schools, and conduct campus interviews
  • Assist with the review and processing of applications, transcripts, and other documents
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to students, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Self-motivation and initiative
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
