The Personal Banker is a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth through a wide range of duties, including account opening and sales promotion. This position is located in Ruidoso, NM, and requires a strong understanding of banking regulations and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

• Provide courteous attention to customers, promoting satisfied and long-term financial relationships while contributing to the overall profitability of the bank.
• Ensure customers receive timely and high-quality customer service, greeting and addressing them with respect and by name.
• Participate in sales and promotion of bank products and services, possessing the knowledge to assist customers in various areas, including new accounts, electronic banking, and wire transfers.
• Develop an understanding of internal bank policies and banking regulations, acting as an escalation point for customer inquiries and using critical thinking to answer questions and problem-solve.
• Actively engage in the local community, cross-selling and generating new lines of business with a focus on growing deposits.
• Demonstrate leadership in bringing bank staff together to meet strategic goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field of study preferred.
• 2+ years of banking experience preferred.
• Understanding of banking regulations required, with training provided.
• Experience with electronic banking desired.
