As a Store Environment Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors, and disposing of trash and recyclables.
  • Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they are looking for.
  • Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
  • Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
  • May require mixing water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
  • Deep clean key areas of the store, including but not limited to bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways, and other high traffic areas to maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Must keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly; notify supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
  • Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
  • Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with both team members and customers, even in difficult situations, in keeping with the organization's vision and values.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Work Environment

The work environment is a public retail store setting, taking care of our customers. All public areas are climate-controlled, and some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled. Some outdoor work may be assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks. The frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.
