Job Overview

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to behavioral healthcare, focusing on the treatment and prevention of substance use disorders and related issues. Since its inception in 1969, FGC has been committed to empowering individuals to reach their full potential as contributing members of their families and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient care from initial assessment through to discharge in both medication-assisted and drug-free treatment programs.
  • Administer medications in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Evaluate and ensure the appropriateness of medication dosages, including methadone.
  • Monitor and document the physical and mental health status of patients.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Work Schedule: 2-3 weekdays (6:15 AM - 2:45 PM) with rotating Saturdays (7:15 AM - 10:00 AM)

Compensation: $30.00 per hour

Environment: Family Guidance Centers, Inc. maintains a drug-free workplace.

Requirements:

Experience: A minimum of two years in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Licensure: Valid L.P.N. license in the State of Illinois and CPR certification are mandatory.
