Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team at Bit by Bit Inc. As an Onsite Technical Support Expert, you will provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues on-site.

This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining inventory of IT assets, and ensuring optimal performance of all technical resources. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory of IT assets, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
  • Collaborating with team members to identify and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Implementing asset management processes and best practices.
  • Conducting regular audits of IT assets to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Maintaining detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and inventory changes in the ticketing system.
  • Providing training and support to end-users on IT systems and software applications.
  • Staying updated on the latest technology trends and best practices in asset management.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Previous experience in technical support or IT asset management is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software components and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with asset management tools and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.
