Job Title: Emergency Medicine Technician - Pediatric Department

About the Job:
This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, assisting in the care of patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. As an Emergency Medicine Technician in our Pediatric Department, you will perform initial triage screening assessments, stabilize and prepare patients for transport, document patient care activities, and provide ongoing patient monitoring.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Under medical direction, administer oral and IV medications via six rights, documenting and communicating clinical findings; assist in providing all components of advanced life support; perform 12-lead EKGs and chemical blood glucose tests; provide cardiac monitoring, assist with cardioversion or defibrillation; apply cardiac monitor, and initial triage assessments under the direct supervision of a registered nurse; collect, label, and transport specimens; complete wound care process according to medical protocol under the direct supervision of RN or physician;

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification, Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License, PALS, and CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer certifications. A High School or GED Equivalent is also required, with a Bachelor's Degree being preferred. Additionally, three years of directly related experience as a bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo speaker is highly valued.

Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of approximately $75,000 per year, with benefits including a $5,000 sign-on bonus, 17% weekday night differentials, 26% weekend night differentials, and 15% weekend day shift differentials.
