MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Radiologic Tech to join our team in a hospital setting. As a Radiologic Tech, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care and operating medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to urgent situations and adjust actions to offer the best possible care to patients.
- Be sensitive to the needs and experiences of others and maintain a non-judgmental attitude towards persons of differing standards, values, lifestyles, and ages.
- Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues and exchange information between team members.
- Knowledge of medical records, procedures, and terminology, as well as compliance with State and Federal laws pertaining to confidentiality of protected health information.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures, as well as knowledge of equipment and systems to promote safe and secure operations.
- Maintain patience and composure in high-stress/difficult situations and prioritize work to be completed within required time frames.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Current ARRT RT(R) credential required, with a credential within six (6) months of hire if registry is eligible.
- Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required, with a temporary license upon hire and a permanent license within six (6) months of hire if a new graduate.
- Healthcare Provider BLS required.
