Your role will be pivotal in delivering compassionate care that embodies the values of Fairmount Homes.

Role Overview:

25 hours per week, working from 4pm to 9pm, including every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour, with an additional $1.25 per hour for weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide resident care in accordance with the Resident Assessment and Support Plan (RASP), under the guidance of supervisory staff. Assist residents with daily living activities, including eating, bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and positioning, while ensuring safety and respecting individual preferences. Support residents with communication needs, manage laundry, and maintain cleanliness in their living spaces. Participate in activities as required. Follow established policies and procedures for resident care. Assist in the dining area by serving beverages, delivering meals, and aiding residents with meal selections. Manage supply orders and ensure accurate billing for resident supplies using electronic systems. Adhere to safety protocols for team members. Conduct resident transfers in accordance with Fairmount policies. Report any significant changes in residents' conditions to the Charge Nurse promptly. Maintain safety and sanitation standards throughout the facility, complying with all relevant regulations. Accurately measure and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output. Ensure residents present a neat and clean appearance. Assist with admission, transfer, discharge, and post-mortem care procedures. Attend required meetings. Comply with quality assurance and infection control standards. Document accurately in both electronic and paper records. Adhere to the Corporate Compliance Plan. Maintain compliance with HIPAA Privacy standards. Perform additional duties as needed based on facility requirements.

Physical and Composure Requirements:

This position involves various physical activities, including frequent balancing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), standing, walking, and occasional climbing and kneeling. Must possess the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations involving residents or staff.
