Job Title: Multi Modality Rad Tech

At Universal Healthcare Resources, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Modality Rad Tech to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Multi Modality Rad Tech to perform a wide range of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and critical thinking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and imaging, with experience in CT, X-Ray, and other modalities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
  • Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.
  • May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, Operations Manager, or NARH Facility Director.
  • Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.
  • May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel or as determined by Manager or Director.
  • Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and Tiger Text format required.
  • Practices infection control in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems.
  • Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR, DR, CT, and PACs applications.
  • Completes annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
  • Maintains department competencies as required.
  • Technologist will be required to perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks including IV insertion and injections.
Requirements:
  • 2 years current CT/X-Ray experience
  • Previous Travel REQUIRED (at least 6 mos or more)
  • Travelers with current agency experience (at least 6mos to 1 year or more) - REQUIRED
  • Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
