About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill a 16-week travel assignment in a PCU/Stepdown 4K setting. This position requires a strong background in critical care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a PCU/Stepdown 4K setting
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team

Requirements:

  • Current Ohio nursing license
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience working with ICU-level patients
  • Experience with vents and trachs
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • CCRN, PCCN, or Critical Care Course certifications preferred
  • 6 months of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
  • Experience with Pre/Post Cath Lab patients and Pre/Post CABG patients preferred

Additional Details:

  • Stepdown float to ICU as needed
  • This position is not open to local candidates
  • Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available)
