Nurse Caregiver

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse with Intermountain Health, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will utilize evidence-based practice, technology, and coordination with other healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care. With a focus on compassion, communication, and empathy, you will provide individualized treatment plans that prioritize patient needs and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess patients' physical and psychological needs, recognizing and addressing them accordingly
* Foster quality care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind
* Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare team members
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines
* Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care
* Participate in clinical team conferences to optimize patient outcomes
* Adhere to hospital, regulatory, and professional guidelines, policies, and procedures
Requirements
* BLS/ACLS certification required upon hire (Cath Lab positions only)
* Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
* ASN/ADN degree: complete a BSN degree within four years from date of hire (unless exempt due to 15+ years of experience in acute care settings)
* Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire

Compensation
