Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiopulmonary Technician to join our team at Good Samaritan Medical Ctr campus. As a Cardiopulmonary Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests and procedures to help patients with heart and lung conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate cardiac stress testing equipment and perform nuclear medicine and pharmacological stress testing
  • Perform EKGs and signal average ECGs, and download, collate, and prepare data for physician interpretation
  • Set up and instruct patients on the use of Holter monitors and cardiac event monitors
  • Perform newborn and infant hearing screenings and track initial screening failures for follow-up testing
  • Participate in in-service and professional educational activities as appropriate

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year non-invasive medical diagnostic testing experience preferred
  • Current American Heart Association approved CPR certification required

Working Conditions

Risk of exposure to blood and body fluids. Must be able to lift, push, and pull 20-40 pounds. Risk of exposure to hazardous airborne pathogens and particles. Annual N95 HMR Full Face fit testing and E required.
