Prime Physicians, PLLC. is seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team in a clinical laboratory setting. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and analyze patient samples, maintaining accurate sample identification and integrity throughout the testing process.
- Record, interpret, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining comprehensive and organized laboratory records.
- Monitor quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and precision of laboratory tests, troubleshoot technical issues, and participate in proficiency testing programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (AMT) or ASCP is required.
- Experience working as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Gross Weekly: $2400
- Total Hourly: $60
- Breakdown: W2 (Taxable): $32.53, Stipend (non-taxable): $1099/weekly
