Job Description

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to fill a contract position in Lincoln City, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality mammography procedures in a timely manner, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Work with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment, reporting any issues to management or appropriate departments.
  • Obtain, verify, and maintain relevant documentation, including patient history, pregnancy status, and shielding precautions taken.
  • Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to identify service requirements, ensure correct exams are performed, and establish rapport.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Mammography Tech (Certified Mammography Tech)
  • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
  • BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
