Role Responsibilities
As a custodian, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in designated areas.
- Performing light maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensuring building security by locking doors after hours and monitoring electrical appliance usage.
- Cleaning and restocking restrooms.
- Collecting and disposing of waste.
- Cleaning floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing floors.
- Washing windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
Physical Requirements
The role requires:
- Ability to support body weight using abdominal and lower back muscles for extended periods.
- Capability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with arms and legs.
- Quick hand movements for grasping and manipulating objects.
- Physical strength to lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing 25+ pounds.
- Ability to see and hear details for identifying and resolving issues.
