Job Description and Duties

Under the general supervision of the Personnel Supervisor II, the Personnel Supervisor I is responsible for supervising and providing technical assistance to Personnel Specialists, performing personnel and payroll duties to maintain an active roster of full-time, part-time, and intermittent positions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review all transactions processed in the unit and assist the Personnel Supervisor II and Staff Services Manager I with complex duties applying to departmental policies.
  • Provide technical assistance to Personnel Specialists and perform personnel and payroll duties.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of Personnel Specialists to ensure efficient and effective performance of duties.

Requirements:
