Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Recreation Aid to join our team at the Coast Guard Community Services Command. As a Recreation Aid, you will be responsible for planning and implementing recreational activities for our patrons, including youth programs, outdoor recreation, and arts and crafts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate recreational activities, including youth programs, outdoor recreation, and arts and crafts
  • Provide oversight and supervision of activities and facilities
  • Issue equipment and supplies to authorized patrons
  • Assist with maintenance and upkeep of facilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Ability to learn and communicate USCG MWR policies and regulations
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently
  • Experience in similar recreational activities
