Quality Control Specialist

As a QC Specialist at ADM, you will be responsible for performing laboratory analysis on in-process and finished product samples to determine conformance to quality and purity specifications. This role reports to the QC/QFS Manager and requires a strong understanding of laboratory instrumentation and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance, calibrations, and validations on laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, IC, Karl Fisher, and Titrators.
- Assist in method development for new testing and method improvements.
- Participate in the training and development of laboratory technicians.
- Write and update laboratory procedures.
- Track and maintain laboratory inventory.
- Support all plant and company safety, environmental, and quality initiatives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with running and maintaining lab instrumentation is preferred.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a food safety or FDA-regulated environment is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time while performing job duties.
- Ability to work from heights, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
