Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with healthcare provider instructions.
- Ensure the accuracy, safety, and timeliness of medication dispensing.
- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects, promptly reporting findings to the supervising nurse.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident responses within the electronic health record (EHR).
- Assist in the ordering and receipt of medications as directed by the licensed nursing staff.
- Support medication inventory management and assist in reordering processes.
- Engage with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals regarding medication administration and any changes in treatment plans.
- Provide general assistance to nursing staff as required.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a current L1MA Certification in the state of practice.
