We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. John Hospital Health Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
- Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
- One or more of the following certifications are required: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, or Medical Sonographer.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree is required.
