Emergency Screener

The Emergency Screener provides critical mental health assessments to individuals in crisis, ensuring timely and effective interventions to prevent further escalation. This role requires a deep understanding of mental health principles, crisis management, and effective communication skills to provide compassionate support to those in need.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individuals at risk of harm to themselves or others.
• Develop and implement crisis intervention plans to de-escalate situations and promote stability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support and services to individuals in crisis.
• Provide education and support to individuals, families, and communities on mental health issues and crisis management.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices in crisis intervention and mental health.

• Master's degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited institution.
• One year of post-master's, full-time equivalent, professional experience in a psychiatric setting.
• Valid driver's license and use of an insured vehicle.
