Job Title: Class A or B Delivery Driver

Are you a skilled driver looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are seeking a Class A or B Delivery Driver to join our team at Airgas in Denver/Commerce City, CO.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to deliver dry ice to our customers. As a Class A or B Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for operating a straight truck with a lift gate, navigating through various routes, and ensuring timely delivery of dry ice to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a straight truck with a lift gate to deliver dry ice to customers
  • Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment as needed
  • Issue or obtain customer signatures on receipts for pickup or delivery
  • Collect empty dry ice boxes to be returned to the plant and/or branch
  • Provide excellent customer service and feedback to the Branch Manager
  • Maintain accurate driving log information and data
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance checklist
  • Comply with all company policies, safety policies and procedures, and DOT and OSHA requirements
Requirements:
  • Class A CDL driver's license
  • One year experience driving a commercial vehicle or diploma from an accredited truck driving school required within the last four years
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
Benefits:
  • Rate of Pay $32.00/hr
  • Overtime after 40 hours/week (Double time for work performed on Sundays and Holidays)

Work Environment:

As a Class A or B Delivery Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely delivery of dry ice to our customers.
