**Key Responsibilities**

  • Prepare medications and provide pharmacological information to multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Monitor patient drug therapies and advise interventions
  • Organize and direct the workflow of Pharmacy Technicians, verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals
  • Provide pharmacological information and counseling to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Comply with state and federal drug laws, maintaining records for controlled substances and removing outdated and damaged drugs from inventory
  • Supervise the work results of support personnel and maintain current registration and licensure
  • Protect patients, technicians, and other personnel by adhering to infection-control protocols
  • Ensure accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals and provide exceptional customer service to all customers

**Requirements**

  • 1-3 years of experience working in a pharmacy setting
  • 1-3 years of previous working or relatable experience in Long Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Infusion Pharmacy
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Valid California Pharmacist License
