Job Title: Programmer 5/PR5 Core

Job Summary:

Idealforce is seeking a highly skilled Programmer 5/PR5 Core to join our customer in Columbus, OH. This is a hybrid position that requires a strong background in .NET, C#, Java, and SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop ASP.NET Core MVC applications with a minimum of 4 years of experience
  • Design and develop databases using SQL Server, with a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Develop applications using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later, with a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Create design mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Consume RESTful APIs, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Develop and secure Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) applications, with a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Develop N-tier environments, with a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Implement code repository strategies, code promotion strategies, and recovery using Team Foundation Server (TFS), with a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Implement Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) enabled controls within Active Server Pages (ASP).NET Web applications, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Develop reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and make them accessible within an MVC web application, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Implement secure coding practices for an ASP.NET MVC application, with a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Develop applications using Test Driven Development (TDD) or a verifiable experience implementing a testing strategy for applications developed, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Develop with Visual Studio, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Develop with TFS/Azure DevOps, including git, boards, and CI/CD pipelines, with a minimum of 5 years of experience

Requirements:

  • 10 years of verifiable experience as a .NET Web Developer developing ASP.NET Core MVC applications
  • 10 years of verifiable ASP.NET experience developing with the C# language
  • 2 years of verifiable experience with the Java language
  • 2 years of verifiable experience with Microsoft C# .NET Core or .NET 8
  • 10 years of verifiable experience with SQL Server Database Design and development
  • 10 years of application experience developing applications using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later
  • 5 years of experience creating design mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code
  • 5 years of experience with consuming RESTful APIs
  • 10 years of verifiable Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience developing and securing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
  • 10 years of experience or a demonstrable understanding of N-tier environments as it relates to development and deployment
  • 10 years of experience or a demonstrable understanding of code repository strategies, code promotion strategies, and recovery using Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • 5 years of verifiable experience implementing Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) enabled controls within Active Server Pages (ASP).NET Web applications
  • 5 years of verifiable experience developing reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and making them accessible within an MVC web application
  • A demonstrable understanding of implementing secure coding practices for an ASP.NET MVC application
  • 2 years of experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) or a verifiable experience implementing a testing strategy for applications developed

Desired Skills:

  • MCPD certification will be highly advantageous
  • Experience developing reports using Microsoft Power BI
