Debt Recovery Specialist

SERVPRO of Decatur is seeking a skilled Debt Recovery Specialist to oversee customer accounts and ensure timely collection of unpaid invoices. This role involves interacting with customers and insurance adjusters, managing collections, and resolving billing issues.

• Secure payments from customers through prompt communication and follow-up.
• Accurately record and post customer payments, including checks and credit card transactions.
• Maintain detailed records of invoices, debits, and credits.
• Address and resolve collection issues by reviewing customer payment plans and history.
• Organize and document all customer correspondence in detail.
• Handle disputes related to payments or invoices.
• Manage lien documentation and maintain accurate records.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• 1+ years of experience in high-volume collections.
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
