At Midland Farms, we are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Shop Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing parts in a timely manner, ensuring they arrive at the right place at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and verify new stock upon delivery
  • Organize and maintain inventory records for all parts in stock
  • Ensure stock levels do not fall below minimum levels
  • Dispense parts and materials to other workers in the company
  • Ensure all parts are in good condition and comply with industry standards
  • Perform warehouse/stockroom inventory cycle counts
  • Coordinate with the company purchaser to ensure timely orders
  • Provide administrative support to management
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Technical School
  • 3 years of skilled industrial maintenance experience
  • Minimum 1 year shop clerk experience
  • Training/experience in at least two or more of the following areas: single and three-phase industrial electricity and control systems, AC/DC drive systems, pneumatics/hydraulics systems, welding practices and techniques, machining/fabricating practices and techniques, industrial boiler operations, water treatment systems, HVAC systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with mechanical preventative maintenance systems
  • Manufacturing plant parts and equipment purchasing experience
