Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Agency for Health Care Administration. As a Registered Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and surveys of healthcare facilities across the state of Florida to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and surveys of healthcare facilities to evaluate compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Document findings and complete written reports of survey findings
  • Collaborate with healthcare facilities to identify areas for improvement and provide guidance on compliance
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve healthcare quality and patient safety
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in state and federal regulations and provide training to healthcare facilities on compliance
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Florida Statute 464
  • Two years of licensed professional nursing experience
  • Ability to work before and after normal work hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel
  • Ability to lift a laptop/tablet computer and work manuals with or without accommodation
